Perla Estrada

This is my third year teaching at El Camino. I was born in Zamora, Michoacan, but grew up in Fresno,Ca. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a bachelor in Liberal Studies. I then went to graduate school at UC Santa Barbara to get my teaching credential. It's there that I got my master's degree in Education and my BCLAD which enables me to work in DLI . In my free time, I love watching novelas, taking walks on the beach and hiking with my dog Daisy.

Este es mi tercer año enseñando en El Camino. Nací en Zamora, Michoacán, pero crecí en Fresno, Ca. Me gradué de Cal Poly SLO con una licenciatura en Estudios Liberales. Luego fui a la escuela de posgrado en UC Santa Barbara para obtener mi credencial de enseñanza. Allí obtuve mi maestría en Educación y mi BCLAD que me permite trabajar en DLI . En mi tiempo libre, me encanta ver novelas, dar paseos por la playa y hacer montañismo con mi perra Daisy.

I am very excited to join the El Camino community this year! This will be my first year teaching at El Camino. I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I recently graduated with my Masters in Education and teaching credential from UCSB. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, going on walks with my dog Lola, and spending time in nature.

¡Estoy muy emocionada de unirme a la comunidad de El Camino este año! Este será mi primer año enseñando en El Camino. Nací y crecí en Santa Bárbara. Recientemente me gradué con mi Maestría en Educación y mi Credencial de Enseñanza de la UCSB. En mi tiempo libre me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis amigos, salir a caminar con mi perrita Lola, y pasar tiempo en la naturaleza.
