I’d like to welcome both returning and new families to our community!  Our school campus is unique in that it is home to two schools:  Foothill School and Goleta Family School.  I am the principal of both schools and we pride ourselves in that we work towards a true partnership throughout our shared campus.  

I am proud to say that we are a community of learners with an experienced staff committed to creating the best possible learning environment for our students.  Our school’s mission is to “create a safe learning environment that addresses the needs of the whole child.”  By working as a collaborative team, the staff focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and rigorous learning environment centered around the academic, social, emotional and physical needs of your child/children.  We are committed in making each and every day count through our careful program and curricular planning, professional development and professional learning teams.  

Our core values revolve around our school-wide SOAR expectations:  SAFE :  OPEN:  ACCEPTING:  RESPONSIBLE and RESPECTFUL of self and others.  These values are taught school-wide with support from all staff who model and teach these values throughout the day and in all environments.  We appreciate this partnership with you as we embark on this educational journey together.
