Juri Holmes

I have been at Foothill for 14 years, mostly teaching sixth grade. I see teaching as one of my passions, and not just as a job. I enjoy having deep and thoughtful conversations with my sixth graders and seeing my students reflect and grow to become a better person as the year progresses. 

My husband and I have three school age children and we enjoy all the blessings of Goleta including going to the beach. I like to stay busy and active and love DIY home projects. 

I appreciate our 6th grade teacher team, and it's been nice to be each other's support system. I feel lucky and fortunate to be at Foothill and hope to be at this school for a long long time!
