About: Isla Vista School is one of ten neighborhood elementary schools in the Goleta Union School District. Our school is located in the unique unincorporated Santa Barbara County community of Isla Vista, near the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB). We serve a population of approximately 516 students, transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.
Isla Vista school is a California Distinguished School and a Title I Academic Achievement Award winner.
Isla Vista Elementary School hosts a diverse population of students and families. We take pride and celebrate the fact that over twenty-five cultures and languages are represented amongst our students and families.
