Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Isla Vista Elementary School. We are proud of the diversity celebrated on our campus with over 24 home languages and cultures represented by our students and their families. Isla Vista School's mission is to develop future-ready readers, writers, and mathematicians who are ALL prepared for college. Our partnership with the nearby University of California at Santa Barbara and other local organizations enrich our school experiences with additional expertise and volunteers. 

Isla Vista values the whole child, offering opportunities both integrated through the curriculum, as well as through specialist instruction for multimedia, physical education, library, music, and art. We also offer a before and after school program. Parent education classes and opportunities for participation and leadership are offered in both English and Spanish. Isla Vista School is a great place to learn and grow. Go Seahawks!
